I’m Bobbi, generally known as BikerGran or BG by my internet friends who are mostly bikers like me and I’m not talking cycling here – anything I ride has to have an engine!  Well I spose technically I’m a triker as I’m on three wheels now but once a biker…..

And I’m a granny too, I have three lovely grandchildren, Adam age 12 is a footballer, Grace age 8 has just become chairman of her school council, and Elliot age 3 who’s going to be a firefighter AND fly a helicopter!.

Bike Trikes n Travels

Currently riding a Kawasaki GT550 trike that was my bike before it was converted – I had dropped it on my leg on a grassy hillside (with me on the downhill side) and did myself a lot of no good!  The result was a leg that wouldn’t hold up a bike any longer, but turning Gertie into a trike was great as I was already having trouble with arthritis in my hands – riding was ok but pushing her about was becoming a problem.  I’d been thinking of getting a different bike but there was nothing that fitted the bill for touring as well as the GT – but triking it solved all my problems!

Of course we all get older – me and the trike! – and new problems arise but I’m sure they can be dealt with!
